The icy weather came early this year, and I cannot resist drippy ice on pine branches.

This one is from Longwood Gardens... I love the way these tree lights reflect on the water as the sun is setting.
330/365
This is another shot from Longwood Gardens. I just love the old metal windows and the nostalgic feel they add to the florals.

Another shot with the windows... and some poinsettias. I find poinsettias to be one of the hardest flowers to shoot, so I almost always go for a double.

I rarely use the bokeh shapes with the Double Glass II, but I decided to play around with it a bit. That's where the stripes in the bokeh on the right hand side comes from.

I took a bit of a walk through Linglestown and wanted to capture the St. Thomas Roasters. Winter can be a tricky time so the double exposure with the winter greens helped things out.

This one is the clock that is right on the square in Linglestown.

Same clock, but the other side... I couldn't decide between black and white and the color version, so I did one of each.

The Rockville bridge has been something that comes up at every art show that I go to. So, I snagged a few photos of it.
Shot with Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L.
337/365
Another shot of the bridge... I liked it with the snowy hillside in the background.

Shooting through windows is often much like a double exposure... I love how shooting through the old glass gives a bit of a distortion to the reflections and the nostalgic scene.

Sometimes the decorations at Longwood can be a bit busy for my taste... But, all of the sparkle of these bejeweled Christmas trees lent itself well to lots of bokeh.

I am no fan of red velvet cake... It's not so much a flavor, but a vehicle for cream cheese frosting. My husband, however, loves it. So, I made him wait to eat his slice of cake so that I could make some photos.

I love the ICM effect you get when you zoom in on a Christmas tree during a long exposure. In this case, I added a still version of the tree as a double exposure.
