While I don't always enjoy setting the clocks forward and losing an hour of sleep, I do enjoy having more sunshine in the evening. I snapped this photo one evening while the kids were out playing (after dinner!).

Yes, I have shared images of snow drops already this year... But, the sun was hitting them so beautifully while I was out for a walk earlier this week, so I had to grab a few more images. Can you tell that I'm anxious for spring?

When I saw this tree, I immediately thought of Dr. Seuss and the Lorax. I've been told it's a Mimosa tree (and even an invasive species in some places!). I shot it a few weeks ago, but I thought of it again as I was reading about the EPA rollbacks that have been discussed (threatened?). It's a good reminder to be someone who speaks for the trees.

I've been in the mood to go out and shoot in the evenings... The evening sunlight has been so lovely. But, it's still too early for much new growth around here. So, I decided to shoot the winter textures that are still hanging around. This is a multiple exposure created in camera. It's 5 different images of pine needles illuminated in the evening light.

I often say that I like dead hydrangeas more than the ones that are green and blooming.

Yup, more hydrangeas. This time, a multiple exposure created from 4 separate images, in camera. I just love the textures and colors. It's the last bit of winter hanging on.

Yes, I realize I have a problem with hydrangeas. But, I just loved this photo because of the colors in the background. You can see the green grass and warm spring light starting to break through.
