Another week has passed, so it's time for another set of my Project 365 images. I've felt like I'm constantly behind on this project this year, and moving the format to a blog (vs. posting daily on Instagram) seems to have made things more complicated. Hopefully I'll get into more of a groove, though.

Sometimes I like to pick the most mundane things I can find to create an image. This is an image of my seed starting tray lid with moisture gathering on the inside after I started a few (72!) plants for the garden last weekend. I chose to make the bokeh from the condensation the focal point of the image.

Anyone else have a large jar collection that you can't part with? I just cannot throw away a good jar. This particular jar came with my pasta sauce from Aldi. I just love that it still has "Mason" printed across the top. I justify keeping it around by filling it with flowers.

I have a small Norfolk Pine growing in a pot in my sunroom (which is also my office). It always catches the light beautifully, and I find myself photographing it somewhat regularly.

I grew up listening to vinyl on my parents' turntable. They had an old copy of the Beatles "Revolver" album, which was my favorite.
For years, I've wanted to get a turntable of my own, and my husband and I finally created a spot for one this past year. There's just something about listening to music on vinyl. This is a double exposure of the Marshall speaker (another item that brings back many happy memories of guitar amps and playing shows) and the record player spinning my newly acquired copy of "Revolver."

I love a good art gallery. And, I love street photography. This photo combines the two.
If you're local to Central PA, I'd highly recommend checking out the Lancaster Art Vault. A friend and I dropped in this weekend when we were in the area. I was super excited to see photos from a local photographer I know. Definitely worth a trip!

Typically, I have an idea of whether I want an image to be in color or converted to black and white. Sometimes I know when I shoot it. Other times, I decide in the editing process. But, either way away, it's usually a pretty quick decision for me.
This particular image is one where I cannot seem to pick just one version. My initial instinct was black and white. I tend to like street images in black and white with a bit of added contrast and clarity. But, in this one, I wasn't sure I was ready to part with those streaky bits of rainbow light streaming into the image. How fun is that lens flare?

Ahhh, brunch. I feel like brunch is a luxury that is not often afforded to most of us with kids. Some people are better than me at making the time and effort to drag the kids along to brunch. But, a busy schedule of sports practices make it a rarity around here.
I just loved these big windows and the glimpse of a woman inside having brunch. I was shooting with my 35mm, so you have to click on the big version of the photo to see it clearly.
