I've toyed with getting a lensball for a while... years, honestly. As you can see, I finally gave in. I haven't had much time to play with it, but Converse photos are always a good idea.

I think this will have to double for my March self portrait, as well. I slacked on that. It's going great and everything's under control.

Oh how I love the unalived hydrangea blooms. I don't have one of these in my yard (yet?) but this particular plant (bush? tree??) is located just at the entrance to the development. So, everyone can watch me contorting myself and trying to get a good photo while they are driving home from work at night. Perfect.

Another floral image that comes from the neighborhood. Honestly, I can't imagine anyone is surprised anymore to see me lying on the ground taking photos.

I adore magnolia trees as much (maybe even more??) as unalived hydrangeas. But, I find them much more difficult to photograph. Every year I try with mixed results.

I should have taken a photo of the name of this flower when I was shooting at Longwood. I love the fun texture and those curly cues.

There is no denying that spring is upon us once the forsythia blooms.

Another sure sign of spring... These petals are mostly gone already, blowing around in the wind.
