Black and White: Shadows

After a set of weekly themes based on some standard compositions, we have moved on to a a few weeks of black and white photography. I'm not mad about it. Over the last few years, I've been drawn more and more toward black and white images. There's something so clean and classic about them.

This week's focus was on utilizing shadows in black and white images. We haven't had much sunshine, so some of the images that I had hoped to capture didn't exactly happen. But, I made the best of it. I love a dark and shadowy image, so when the sun wasn't out, I leaned into that.
